Take the TRA-70 to determine eligibility
Before anything else, you take the TRA-70 assessment. This isn't a pass-or-fail test — it's a tool to understand where you are and whether the Thrive Grant is the right fit for your journey. The assessment helps us ensure that participants can engage safely with the grant period.
Submit your story and need
If the assessment indicates a fit, you'll submit an application telling your story in your own words. What brought you here? What are you hoping to find? There's no perfect formula — just your honest narrative. The community needs to understand who you are and why this grant could be transformative for you.
Thrive Grant community selects recipients
The Thrive Grant community reviews applications and votes on who receives grants. This isn't a committee of experts making decisions behind closed doors — it's democratic. Your peers decide. The voting process is transparent, and the results are final. If you're selected, you've earned it through community trust.
4-month grant period with independent providers
Once selected, you enter a 4-month grant period. During this time, you work with independent licensed professionals who bring their own expertise and clinical judgment. The grant covers the cost of their services — it doesn't dictate what those services look like. This is about funding your access, not controlling your path.
Results measured and published publicly
Results are measured using validated instruments administered by independent third parties — not Thrive Grant staff. Your data is collected ethically and published in aggregate. We believe in radical transparency: if this works, the world should know. If it doesn't, we need to know that too.
