Our Mission

Funding access to evidence-based programs for people the system forgot — and proving they work.

Thrive Grant Foundation funds access to validated personal growth and healing programs for people who need them most. We measure outcomes rigorously, publish results openly, and never wait for establishment approval.

Mission, Vision & Values

M

Mission

To expand access to evidence-based growth programs for individuals who face systemic barriers — veterans, those without financial means, and people left behind by conventional approaches. We fund the experience. We measure what changes.

V

Vision

A world where transformative, evidence-supported programs are accessible regardless of income, geography, or institutional gatekeeping. Where outcomes are measured openly and published for all to see, not buried or dismissed.

V

Values

  • Transparency — Publish our outcomes, our finances, and our methodology. No exceptions.
  • Rigor — Use the same validated instruments the establishment uses. Let the data speak.
  • Access — The grant goes to people who couldn't otherwise afford the program.
  • Independence — Licensed professionals exercise their own clinical judgment. We fund; we do not direct.
  • Accountability — We hold ourselves to measurable outcomes and publish them publicly.

How We Operate

Evidence-Based Programs

We fund access to programs supported by validated instruments and measurable outcomes research. Our evaluation uses standardized tools — including PHQ-9, GAD-7, and PCL-5 — administered by independent, third-party evaluators who have no stake in the results.

Open Outcomes

Every grant cycle, we collect pre-program baselines and post-program measurements. Results are published on our Outcomes page for anyone to review. We don't cherry-pick. We publish everything.

Community Selection

Grant recipients are selected through a community voting process, not by a board behind closed doors. The public nominates. The community votes. We fund. The Selection page explains this process in full.

Provider Independence

Thrive Grant funds access to programs led by independent, licensed professionals. We do not direct or dictate what those professionals do. Grant recipients work directly with their provider. The foundation's role is to fund access — not to practice, prescribe, or intervene.

A Note on Our Framing

You may have heard us described as "a PR stunt for hope." That's not us being cynical — it's us being honest. We believe that if you run a rigorous study, publish the outcomes openly, and let the results challenge the status quo, you create something the establishment can't ignore: evidence. The stunt is the science. The hope is the point.

We use validated instruments. We hire independent evaluators. We publish every result. If the data shows we're wrong, we'll say so. We're not afraid of the truth — we're building a methodology robust enough to find it.

Be Part of What We're Building

Help us prove that access and outcomes can change lives — publicly, rigorously, and without asking permission.
